Continuity and Quality
Installation:
1. Measure the Required Length
Measure the exact distance between the two connecting points where the flue pipe will be installed.
Take into account the overlap section (minimum 80 mm, maximum 270 mm) when determining the required extension.
2. Mark the Cut Line
Slide the inner pipe inside the outer pipe to simulate the final installation.
Mark the desired cut point on the outer pipe, ensuring you preserve the minimum insertion depth of 80 mm.
If necessary, also trim the inner pipe accordingly, ensuring both pipes still slide freely.
3. Cut the Pipe
Carefully cut the pipe along the marked line using a suitable metal cutting tool.
Remove any sharp edges or burrs using a file to prevent injury or damage during installation.
4. Test the Fit
Assemble the telescopic pipe at the desired length.
Check that the inner pipe slides smoothly and the joint is stable.
Ensure a minimum of 80 mm insertion between sections for a safe and secure fit.
5. Install the Pipe
Fit the telescopic pipe between the stove and the next flue section.
Ensure that all connections are aligned and tight.
You may use a high-temperature sealant at the joints for additional sealing, especially if required by local regulations.
6. Final Check
Confirm that the installation is stable and there are no air gaps or loose connections.
Ensure the flue path is vertical or within allowed angles and properly supported.
Safety Reminders:
Always wear protective gear during installation.
Ensure the flue is adequately ventilated and compliant with local building and fire codes.
Do not use the stove until the entire flue system has been tested for airtightness and draft.
